These Hands
I’ve been playing bass for about two years now. And I swear, just within the past few weeks, I’ve suddenly got calluses on all my fingertips. And I keep looking at them, and feeling them, and I’m just…proud. I’ve never worked on something I love to do as hard or for as long as I have with bass, and I feel like I’ve just earned a trophy.
It has lit a fire under my ass. I want to dive even deeper into learning and practicing. I bought real recording equipment, and I know I said this before, but I’m finally going to record the songs I’ve written. I hope to be able to share them soon.
